VINYL UPDATE Because of slight production delays, release of the new Sea Power album Everything Was Forever has gone back a touch, to 18 February 2022. Sincere apologies on this.
At last, the excelsior Disco Elysium Origami vinyl edition is now coming into stock – indeed, some copies have already been dispatched. Due to the packaging intricacies of this release, the Origami records are being delivered in instalments and will be sent out as they come in. However – and very sorry here – due to the vagaries of vinyl production in this era, the more standard Disco Elysium vinyl edition is still not quite in stock. We are really very sorry about this – it’s been the longest and most drawn-out production process Sea Power have been involved with. We are hoping stock for this edition will arrive very soon – after which they’ll be sent out in order of purchase date.
WORDS AND MUSIC This newsletter was composed to an exclusive advance preview of the debut album from DaemöniK Fonce, exemplary rock naturists featuring the great Welsh Paul. Fittingly, the Eye Love DaemöniK Fonce album is due out on St David’s Day 2022 – 1 March. Also playing as news was written was the fab Chorettes track R.I.N.G.O, an oblique gesture to current BEATLES MANIA.

Providing textual inspiration was Nina’s Simone Gum, the wonderfully picaresque memoir from Nick Cave co-pilot Warren Ellis. For more local book action, Roy Wilkinson’s Dark Lustre series remains available. This six-volume “non-non-fiction” adventure from the Sea Power biographer makes for a perfect festive gift. We mean have you read the reviews? Stuart Maconie: “A kaleidoscope of characters, jokes, theories and terrific writing.” Stephen Morris, New Order: “Superb. Highly enjoyable AND educational. ”
DARK LUSTRE AVAILABLE HERE
That’s all for now. Best wishes to one and all.
Yours sincerely, The Secretary
