"In 2019 we held our first Krankenhaus Festival on the beautiful western edge of the Lake District. We had such an incredible time and the experience and music left many magical memories. Last time, the festival included a poet laureate, bonfires, beautiful nature, a castle and hawk and owl flying displays – not to mention the very best alternative musical acts curated by and including Sea Power. We’re thrilled to be playing at this place again.
"We are very excited to be doing Krankenhaus in 2022 and it's just a little bit bigger too, with three days and nights of music, plus extra action on the Monday daytime. There will be even more artists, musicians, DJs, poets and entertainments. Book a ticket as soon as you can to make sure you don’t miss out.
"Ravenglass was described by John Ruskin as ‘The gateway to paradise.’ This description has never been more apt. Krankenhaus Festival will take place on the August bank holiday 2022, once again at Muncaster Castle, a striking and ancient outpost near Ravenglass by the West Cumbrian coast.
